ACT! for Web 2009, 2008 and 2007 Hosting

Data Center

Our clients' ACT! for Web systems are hosted in a Tier IV data center, your assurance that we have met all the requirements necessary to keep it running without ever shutting down for maintenance, no matter what happens.

A Tier IV data center has multiple active power and cooling distribution paths, redundant components, and is fault tolerant, providing 99.995% availability. But our data center goes even far beyond that, by having more power and more backup Internet connections than are required to maintain a Tier IV classification.

Protecting your information

Data security

Your valuable corporate data resides in one of the most secure data centers in the nation.

In addition to security officer protection, video surveillance cameras throughout the facility, and surrounding the building, monitor every movement 24 hours of every day.

Walls and glass are bullet resistant, biometric scanners and access card readers guard against unauthorized access, and "man trap " security areas protect all entrances.

Assuring uninterrupted access

Data RAID

Today you have an appointment with a client. You hope to close a $1 million sale. But a co-worker has left you a note saying your appointment has been changed. The new time slot has been entered in your ACT! database. You go to your computer, but your database does not let you in. What do you do?

But it is far better to take steps in advance to assure this will never happen.

That's why all of our servers have dual power supplies running on separate power feeds, fail safe hardware firewall protection, RAID Drive configuration to protect your data in the event of a hard drive failure, redundant Internet connections, and the latest protection against viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, and other malicious software.

We have extraordinary power protection measures in place. Like fully-redundant power circuits and UPS battery back-up to each rack of servers.

Then there are the impressive 1-Megawatt dedicated, diesel-powered generators equipped with three full days of on site fuel.

In the event it becomes necessary, provisions are in place to accommodate longer term outages.

All power to the servers travels through this redundant battery backup system to keep the power from flux in power dips and spikes. This impressive array of industrial-strength backup resources can power the entire data center for several hours.

But as an added precaution, power generators automatically power on after just three minutes of power loss by the local electricity company!

Redundant Internet Connections

secure battery backup

All elements of our core Cisco-powered network infrastructure and enterprise-class firewalls are fully redundant, and protected by real time intrusion detection and notification.

We maintain six connections to Tier-1 Internet providers including DS-0, DS-1, DS-3 and OC-3. And we maintain multiple, diverse fiber paths through several world-class providers.

Safer, more secure home for your ACT! for Web systems.
